You´re bidding on a rare vintage Ferrari fuel cap.

Truly amazing quality - very heavy metal piece with inlaid enamel Ferrari prancing horse crest, perfectly integrated hidden lock and venting/overpressure valve.

Replaced it with a regular Ferrari aluminum fuel cap when our 512 was sold years ago and kept this beautiful rarity as a memento until now.

Unfortunately, the keys were accidentally sold together with the car but the happy new owner of this cap could of course have new keys cut (should be a simple and inexpensive thing for any locksmith). Does of course work just as well without keys if you do not need the locking feat.

Excellent used condition - see photos.

Shipping from Germany to anywhere in the world is 9 USD.

Happy bidding and good luck!

The Range Rover Evoque Prototypes - off to conquer the world Last week were were a little hasty and a little harsh. We got sent a set of photos of the Range Rover Evoque all dressed up in camouflage and ready to go out testing round the world. We ran a story questioning why on earth Land Rover would send out disguised Evoques when we’d already seen a production-ready Evoque – without disguise – at the party to celebrate 40 years of Range Rover.

Under the plan announced Friday in New York by CEO Akio Toyoda, Toyota will boost annual capacity at its Georgetown, Ky., plant by 50,000 vehicles to accommodate ES output.

Caterham – including Caterham F1 – up for sale for £350 million

Mon, 26 May 2014

Will the Caterham AeroSeven Concept (pictured) be a casualty of Caterham’s impending sale? Caterham’s foray in to F1 hasn’t been much of a success, with not a single point on the F1 board since they arrived in 2010 as Lotus Racing (although Marcus Ericsson was just one place off a point at Monaco yesterday). Now, after warning back in January that he would walk away from F1 if the Caterham team’s performance on track didn’t improve, it looks like Fernandes is ready to walk away from Caterham altogether.
