You are bidding on a very Rare 1960s or 70s License Plate Frame from the
British Motors / Ferrari West dealership in Monterey, California.

There is only ONE frame included in this auction (like you were going to install a front plate).
It's in good condition for its age, there are no cracks and its pretty straight, the chrome is
also fairly good for a driver and the black paint will need to be redone. Please look at all the
photos for condition and contact me if you have any questions.

Have owned this frame for many years and kept an eye out for Ferrari's at the Monterey show,
which would have had a frame like it on their car. Only found a single one in ten years and the
owner had purchased the car locally and still was the original owner.

If you are interested in the Ferrari License Plate Frame, don't hesitate to
bid and/or contact me.

College Exhibition: IED Fiat/Chrysler project

Fri, 13 Nov 2009

Second year students at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy, recently completed a Fiat/Chrysler sponsored project, which began in February 2009. Conceived as a didactic exercise to think about the recent alliance between Fiat and Chrysler, 37 students were asked to design a vehicle capable of combining the technical know-how, platforms and values of both brands in order to generate interesting and competitive new products for the European and the American markets. In creating their concepts, students were asked to take into account the style, economic accessibility and the low environmental impact of Fiat vehicles as well as the new platforms and major industrial and production capacity afforded by the Italian automaker's alliance with the Chrysler brand.

2012 Mercedes B-Class: First interior photos

Fri, 29 Jul 2011

2012 Mercedes B-Class Interior - first photo We’re expecting the 2012 Mercedes B-Class to be a big jump on from the current car - certainly in quality and dynamic terms – when it arrives at Frankfurt. And if the photo we’ve had in this morning of the 2012 B-Class’s interior is anything to go by, we’re not going to be too disappointed. We already know that the new B-Class is growing in size and that it will get all new engines with same direct injection as the BlueDIRECT (let’s just hope Mercedes now has the injector problems the C and E Class suffered under control) and a choice of either a six-speed manual or a  new 7G-DCT ‘box, which will be a huge improvement on the dreadful rubber band box in the old B-Class.
