Icon Helios: the Tesla Model S streamliner inspired by DC-1s

Better known for modifying Land Rovers and Jeeps, Icon CEO and lead designer Jonathan Ward has now turned his hand to a more futuristic idea - making electric cars truly desirable. University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2010

The University of Huddersfield Transportation Design course recently exhibited the work of this year's graduating students as part of the School of Art and Design degree show. A 1965 Maserati 3500 GT will cross the block at the Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 19-23, 2011. The vehicle is one of more than 2,000 Maserati 3500 GT models produced from 1955 through 1966.
