New Lotus Elise in 2015
Thu, 30 Sep 2010The 2015 Lotus Elise Of all the Lotus reveals today at the Paris Motor Show, the new Lotus Elise is perhaps the one most easily understood. After all, the current Lotus Elise has been with us for a decade and will be a rather long-in-the-tooth model by the time Lotus turns up with this replacement in 2015. Although the new Lotus Elise will be the closest to Colin Chapman’s vision of a real Lotus, it will be a bit on the pricey side, with prices starting at around £40k.
Confirmed: Lexus RC (IS Coupe) arriving at Tokyo Motor Show – RC F V8 planned too
Thu, 18 Jul 2013The Lexus RS Coupe, previewed by the LF-CC (pictured) arrives in November The concept version of the new Lexus IS was the LF-CC Concept, which was shown at the Paris Motor Show last year. But the LF-CC was actually a two-door coupe, not a four door saloon, so it seemed highly likely there was an IS Coupe in the works that would arrive sooner rather than later. And it will, at the Tokyo Motor Show in November.
Automotive Interiors Expo 2010
Thu, 08 Jul 2010The first Automotive Interiors Expo, an event that was part of no less than five automotive trade exhibitions gathered together at the Stuttgart Messe, took place in southern Germany from the 22 to 24 of June. The exhibitions, comprising European Automotive Components Expo, Automotive Testing Expo, Vehicle Dynamics Expo and Engine Expo, showcased the latest technologies and services from over 500 suppliers to the automotive industry. Grouped in three large halls, the Expo covered conventional powertrains and batteries right through to vehicle electrical systems and crash testing, but it also featured a panel of experts discussing the color, feel and shape of material design, synergies and design challenges; safety, lighting and HMI's; and interior component design as a means of achieving sustainable and lightweight vehicles.
