The first official photos of the 2011 Mercedes CLS leak out The Paris Motor Show beckons, and we are thankfully going to have far more going on in the world of cars than we have for the last month or so. RM Auctions buys Auburn complex from Kruse

RM Auctions has bought the Kruse International Auction Park in Auburn, Ind., from financially troubled auctioneer Dean Kruse and plans to hold the site's annual Labor Day weekend car auction Sept. 2-6. Rob Myers, RM Auction CEO, said his company will spend the next several weeks making upgrades to the auction facility and lining up consignments.

Wild Peugeot 308 R Concept set for Frankfurt debut

Peugeot has spiced up the launch of the all-new Peugeot 308 by teasing us with photos of the 308 R Concept to be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show. And while we could suggest Peugeot has got the Golf GTI and Focus ST in its sights, we like to think of the 308 R Concept more as a grown-up version of the Peugeot RCZ R. And although the 308 R Concept is unlikely to become anything other than a limited-run special, it certainly raises the prospect of a super-hot performance 308.
