This auction is for three NOS key blanks for many different Fiat vehicles from 1955 to 1967. If you have early locks made by Cromodora, these will most likely fit. These are from the era before rubber capped ignition keys and will fit a variety of ignition, door, trunk, and glove box locks. Models include the 500, 600, 1200 & 1500, early 124, and many more Italian cars. Genuine Fiat part number noted above. The keys say Fiat on one side, and Cromodora on the other side, with the #2 stamped on the Fiat side. Look at the pictures closely and please ask questions if needed. Genuine Fiat key blanks are no longer common, you will not be disappointed in these, no reserve, thanks.

Concept Car of the Week: Chevrolet Astro (1967)

Presented in New York Auto Show in 1967, it was the first of three Astro concepts shown in annual succession and illustrates GM's desire to develop models that were both aerodynamic and attractive. What we might take for granted in aerodynamics nowadays was almost untouched territory in the mid ‘60s.
Renault Sand'up concept
Mon, 27 Oct 2008This is Renault's new Sand'up concept, developed by Renault Brazil and unveiled today at the 25th Salão Internacional do Automóvel in São Paolo. The modular 2+2 coupé can not only transform into a cabriolet, but it can also be used as a pickup by lowering the rear bench seat. As most pickups in Brazil are bought for their sporty image and not used for heavy workloads, but rather as an adventurous and fun vehicle, the car makes use of the rear passenger compartment by incorporating a mechanism that lengthens the cargo bed by up to 40cm to accommodate a range of objects.

These could be Photoshops based on the Lexus LF-CC – which previewed the new IS – but they do have the feel of being real, and if they are then Lexus is delivering up an RC Coupe that’s pretty faithful to the LF-CC Concept and which promises to be a real competitor for the BMW M3. Under the bonnet of the RC F is expected to be a 5.0 litre V8 delivering around 455bhp and 400lb/ft of torque, complete with cylinder deactivation for more frugal running when you’re not wringing the neck of the V8, and mated to an eight-speed auto ‘box with flappy paddles and three driving modes.
