Custom Made Rear Cargo / Spare Tire Straps for the Fiat 500 and Abarth

Folding down the rear seats of the Fiat 500 more than doubles the usable cargo space, but Fiat does not offer any way to secure cargo in this area.

The new Custom Made Rear Cargo Straps from Flash Products allow you to securely tie down boxes, suitcases and even a temporary spare tire on top of the folded rear seats.   This keeps the trunk area free for other storage and safely keeps your cargo from shifting or sliding into the front cabin or back into the trunk area damaging your interior or other stored items!

The Cargo Straps are quickly and easily removed without tools when not in use.  They can be simply stored in the pocket behind the front seats.

Installation is easy and takes less than 30 minutes!  Only a 16mm socket or wrench is needed to remove 4 bolts, 2 under the front of the rear seats and 2 behind the rear seats.   The short Installation Strap metal grommets are placed on the bolts and then the bolts are reinstalled.  These short Install Straps remain in place when the Cargo Straps are removed using the side release snap buckles.  So, after the initial install, to use the Cargo Straps simply install by fastening the 4 snap buckles and you’re ready to go!

Full installation instructions with color pictures are included.

Made in the USA with 4200 lbs Tensile Strength Heavy Nylon 1" strapping with Nickel Grommets and Plastic Buckles and Fasteners.

Fits all 2012 -2013 Fiat 500 Hatchback models. (Not applicable for Cabrio models)

**All of our products carry a One-Year Warranty**

***These straps are for securing standard cargo items from shifting during normal driving conditions and are not intended as a safety strap or protection during an automobile crash.

Citroen Lacoste concept car first pics

Mon, 20 Sep 2010

This is the Citroen Lacoste concept, a playful tie-up between the quirky French marque and its equally French fashion partner. If you think you can find a hint of the next-gen C1 in here then good luck with that. After all, this car has no doors, no roof, an inflatable hood and a retractable rear bench which is literally that, ie, a bench.

Hyundai wins Red Dot design award for New Genesis & New i10

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

The Hyundai Genesis (left) and Hyundai i10 have won the Red Dot design Award Oh, how things change. It’s not long since Hyundai’s USP was the cheapness of its cars, but those days are now gone; Hyundai now competes head to head with mainstream makers as the strength of its products improves with every new model and its designs make Hyundai appealing without resorting to bargain basement headline prices. That has been perfectly illustrated with the Red Dot Design awards for both the new Genesis and the new Generation i10, both of which have received the Red Dot Design award – a first for Hyundai.

Chevrolet Volt for European sale in November 2011

Mon, 13 Dec 2010

Chevrolet will start selling the Volt range-extender hybrid from European Chevy outlets in November 2011 and plans right-hand drive from UK launch in spring 2012. It means that GM will offer Europeans the choice of the Volt or the Opel/Vauxhall Ampera – the Euro spec version of the same car. Although prices are not yet set for either model, CAR understands the Chevy is likely to be positioned slightly cheaper than the Vauxhall.
