WE are a small independent British Italian and Swedish Car parts company founded in 1980. We had a huge salvage yard and have parted out almost 1,500 cars since 1980. Matthews Foreign Car Parts also has a Giant inventory of NEW, NOS, REBUILT and used parts.  We moved are salvage operation to a 40,000 square foot warehouse were everthing is stored. We only keep about 15-25 cars around strip them down and label the parts and store them in giant rooms. The warehouse used to be a MEAT PACKING PLANT. We throw nothing away (which sometimes is the problem) You can try and call us 205-251-5800 with any questions or e-mail us due to the shere volume of questions and projects we have sometimes it is hard to get through. keep trying! We also have a satellite yard in south east Georgia that we can ship from. if you have factory part numbers that is the best. We went from 7 salesmen to just 2. so please be patient we feel our prices and service will more than make up for the wait.

Toyota Yaris & Yaris Hybrid get updated for 2014. Price from £10,895

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

The Toyota Yaris & Yaris Hybrid have been updated for 2014 Toyota has decided to have a play with the Yaris and Yaris Hybrid, bringing in new trim levels as well as getting the 1.4 litre diesel in to the sub-100g/k emissions bracket. Toyota call the new trim levels a simplification, but you’ll still have the option of Active, Icon (but not on the hybrid), Icon Plus and Trend depending on how many goodies you want to fork out for. The entry-level Yaris Active offers a basic equipment level with electric front windows, USB, and audio controls on the steering wheel, but you’ll have to pick the Yaris Icon to get stuff like 15″ alloys, electric door mirrors, Toyota Touch Media System, rear-vew camera, AirCon and Bluetooth.

Victor Muller dusts off the Spyker D8 Peking-Paris

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Spyker D8 Peking-Paris Victor Muller is back trying to grab more investors with plans to put the Spyker D8 Peking-Paris in to production. Again. Just when we thought the demise of Saab would see Victor Muller buy a pipe and slippers and retire to Switzerland to contemplate his motoring adventures in to his dotage, CPP goes bust after Vlad the Investor went slightly overdrawn and Victor snatches Spyker back from its UK sojourn as a platform for more grandiose plans.

Mini is 50: a Mini celebration by CAR writers and readers

Tue, 13 Oct 2009

By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 13 October 2009 12:45 Mini is 50 this year and we've published a 33-page Mini special in the new November issue of CAR Magazine – packed with memories, drives and analysis of and with the cars and people that made Mini great.  Here we've asked some of CAR's top writers to remember their personal highlights from the past five decades. Gavin Green explains why he recently drove across Australia in a modern Mini, while Anthony ffrench-Constant recalls why crashing a classic Mini caused him to start a lifelong nicotine habit. Click on the links below for our new Mini stories – and don't forget we want YOUR Mini memories too.
