The project cars are gone, but the project car books still need a home. This paperback book is all about the X1/9: new model introductions, updates, technical data, styling analysis, specifications, road and comparison tests, etc. The cover has done its job and shows signs of wear but the inside is clean and the binding is tight. DSH (dear sweet husband) is working at that big garage in the sky now, and his children are quite content to drink to his honor with the proceeds from the sale of this manual. Cheers! |

The new supercar – which makes the 12C look obsolete – is in production now, and will cost punters around £195,000 for the coupe. A folding hard-top spider will also be available, for around £215,000. In a strategy reminiscent of Aston Martin’s continuous improvement of the DB9 and its transformation into the Vanquish, McLaren has revamped the carbonfibre 12C with 25% new parts.
NHTSA investigates GM cars for possible brake light problems
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Federal safety regulators are looking at three General Motors vehicles for potential brake light defects that could result in a recall of more than a million midsize vehicles. A Automotive News they were investigating an estimated 550,000 Pontiac G6s because of possible brake light malfunctions that could increase the chances of an accident. NHTSA said it had received 212 consumer complaints concerning brake light problems on 2005-09 modelG6s.
