Up for sale is one manifold, modified from an original used European spec 1300 X19 manifold with the correct manifold angle to suit the unique tilt of the X19 engine, and a NEW (NOS) WEBER 36DCNVA carb. A DCNVA carb is just like a DCNF except it has a strangler flap type of choke setup (rather than the enrichment tube type choke of the DCNF) Very simple setup and install, with most of the performance of twin carbs, but without the balancing and setup issues and of course less expense. These 36DCNVA carbs already have a ported vacuum fitting, so can be easily used with a vacuum advance style distributor, giving a good balance of performance and economy. The setup for sale is one modified manifold and one NEW (NOS) 36 DCNVA carb for just $550au plus worldwide postage at cost. 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra sells for $7.25 million at Monterey auction
Mon, 17 Aug 2009The championship-winning 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe CSX2601 sold for a record $7.25 million on Saturday at an auction in Monterey. The sale is believed to be a record for an American car at auction. Bob Bondurant drove it to victory in the 12 Heures du Reims--fittingly on the Fourth of July in 1965 to secure the FIA title.

It’s the first time we've seen the California with its folding hard-top erected, and extra snippets of information - like the size of the 2+2 - have now been announced. Its 4560mm length puts the California midway between an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB9, while the Ferrari’s 1900mm width means it is wider than both Brits.
Half of all used cars go wrong ‘within a month’

But rather shockingly, as many as half of all used cars sold develop faults within a month of changing hands. That’s according to a report by the Citizens Advice Bureau, which helped with over 84,000 problems with secondhand motors in the past 12 months.
