Every hull, deck, console, bench seats and small pieces are laminated the old fashioned way, by hand. We believe that there is no substitute for the hand of a skilled craftsman. Hand lamination also helps with creating an ideal resin/fiberglass ratio not achieved while using modern wet out systems, resulting in a much stronger, less brittle laminate.   Combining proven decades old techniques with cutting edge Bi-Axial and Tri-Axial fiberglass fabrics, built to last forever.

New Porsche Macan takes over Harrods’ window (video)

The new Porsche Macan gets pride of place in Harrods’ window. Harrods display windows have become a happy stomping ground for car makers in recent years, with everyone from MINI to Hyundai (here and here) taking up prime Harrods real estate to showcase their latest cars. Now its the turn of Porsche to get their newest cars on display to Harrods’ customers and passing Londoners and visitors as they take over a window until 5th February.

Acura releases specs, photos of the ZDX

Acura confirmed specs and released more photos Monday of the new ZDX, which is scheduled to arrive this winter as a 2010 model. The ZDX is the vehicle being pitched as a “four-door sports coupe” and, as expected, will come with a 3.7-liter V6 engine making 300 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. That's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Skoda reveals baby hot hatch

The sub-Fabia sized hatchback would take on cars like the Citroen C2 and 2008 Ford Ka replacement. Skoda says the Joyster has decent interior space, and an airy feel thanks to a full-length sunroof.
