All hoods shipped freight collect (COD on shipping) via truck freight. Shipping is NOT FREE. Shipping normally runs @ $115.00 to a business address an additional $30.00 to a residence. Shipping to west coast and NY normally runs @ $150.00. It is up to the buyer to inspect merchandise for damages prior to accepting merchandise before signing delivery receipt. When winning eBayer receives an eBay invoice from hood4sale, shipping and handling will state $0.00- hood is shipped freight collect - meaning - you will pay the shipping fees mentioned above, to the delivery truck when the hood is delivered. Accidents caused by 'sun dazzle' jump 12%
Wed, 16 Oct 2013ACCIDENTS caused by the sun’s dazzling rays rose by 12% last year according to Department for Transport (DfT) figures. The official statistics show that ‘sun dazzle’ was a major factor in 2,905 accidents in 2012, compared to 2,592 in 2011. A-roads were the most common location for accidents influenced by sun dazzle, at 41% of the total.
Redesigned Ford Escape SUV is recalled for carpet issue
Mon, 16 Jul 2012Ford is recalling about 8,200 copies of the redesigned 2013 Ford Escape SUV to fix a carpeting flaw that could affect the driver's ability to use the brakes. Ford says the affected vehicles were built between March 8 and June 7, 2012. According to Ford, an improperly installed piece of carpet padding on the center-console trim panel could cause a driver's foot to hit the side of the side of the brake pedal when moving from the accelerator pedal.
