FireAde 2000 is the most complete and user friendly firefighting agent produced in the world. Numerous firefighting agents claim to be Class A and B compliant; however they comply with NFPA 18/2006 wetting agent classification only. This classification is recognized within the fire service solely as a Class A agent. FireAde® 2000 complies with NFPA 18/2006 wetting agent and UL 162 foam liquid concentrate. This awards FireAde® 2000 a "TRUE" Class A and B classification approval. FireAde® 2000 eliminates all of the long-established issues of Class B foams; it will not clog, gum, or corrode foam systems and equipment. The global environmental impact system (EIS) for firefighting foams rates all foams on acute aquatic toxicity. FireAde® 2000 rates lower than the majority of Class A foams with the USDA forestry approval and declared fluorine free foams. FireAde® 2000 offers the simplicity of using one product to extinguish multiple classifications of fire. This allows fire departments and fire brigades to increase their stocking supply by just using one product, FireAde® 2000.

New SEAT Leon goes in to production

Sun, 28 Oct 2012

The new SEAT Leon (2013) – revealed at the Paris Motor Show – has started production in Spain ahead of first deliveries in March 2013. SEAT has invested heavily in the Martorell plant in recent years – a shining light of success in a sea of Spanish manufacturing despair – with a £650 million investment in new facilities and R&D making Martorell a modern and efficient facility for the new Leon as well as the Ibiza, Altea and Exeo (and the Audi Q3). Not only has the investment in Martorell secured the jobs of 1600 Spanish workers (and four times as many in the supply chain), it promise more jobs too if the Leon turns out to be as appealing as it looks.

New Honda Insight Hybrid: Insight Exclusive gets 1.5 litre from CR-Z

Fri, 28 Oct 2011

Honda Insight Exclusive gets bigger 1.5 litre IMA Hybrid You can’t blame Honda for wanting to keep a toe in the hybrid waters, especially as arch rival Toyota has all but cornered the market. But you can blame them for the rather woeful Honda Insight Hybrid which, despite offering good headline economy and a bit of a green halo, is something of a dog. However, a chunk of the criticisms levelled at the Insight were addressed by Honda last month when it revealed its nips and tucks for the Insight for 2012.
