 Power door lock actuators and lock rods and switches  for T/A Camaro 78-81, both are completely rebuilt, these have been taken apart, cleaned, lubricated, all worn parts replaced,  fully tested on a jig, work great, if they do not meet factory specs, they are not sold.  full 90 day warranty, right and left, original GM.  Super nice condition, no torn boots!, comes with the correct mounting bracket for 78-81 Camaro- T/A, and correct anti rattle clips.  Camaros and Firebirds 78-81 have dimples on the door jam to show where to drill for brackets, if you have a 70-77 I can supply you with a paper template to show where to drill.   I will include correct plugs with approx. 8" of wire,   perfect if you are   upgrading to factory power door locks!, these are easy to wire up, just follow the diagram with 14 gauge wire, I have installed dozens of these for customers and will help with any problems!,  I will enclose a factory wiring diagram for door lock installation in 78-81 Camaro/ Firebird. Be aware that most all aftermarket actuators are made in China and do not last!, also the new GM replacements are made in Mexico and will burn out in a very short time! GM to retool factory for new Impala

General Motors plans to idle the plant where it assembles the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid for four weeks starting next month to retool for production of the all-new 2014 Impala and a small number of 2013 Malibus. GM will close its Detroit-Hamtramck plant from Sept. 17 until Oct.

Jaguar F-Type leaks again – more photos

The 2013 Jaguar F-Type is due to be revealed in two days at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but ahead of that we have a full set of photos. Last week we had the first leak of a Jaguar F-Type photo (quickly followed by an official version of the same photo from Jaguar), and this morning we have a full set of photos of the new F-Type, courtesy of Teamspeed. What we get this time is the F-Type on the road, and a shot of the F-Type’s interior too – which looks very ‘modern’ Jaguar.

Renault Captur concept car (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Renault today whisked the covers off the new Captur concept car. It’s a compact SUV akin to alliance partner Nissan’s Juke – and the Renault Captur will be the French brand’s star at the 2011 Geneva motor show in March. It’s certainly a welcome look at a clean-sheet proposal for an SUV.
