South Houston, Texas, United States
Condition:Used

(4) Used Firestone 6.70-15 tires removed from garaged '58 Corvette. Good shape with 6/32's - 9/32's tread. Date code might be 283 as shown (28th week of 2003?) but I can not confirm that. Not suitable for any high speed application but perfect for a Rat Rod, old truck, etc.

I prefer local pick up as loose tries are expensive to ship via UPS which I estimate to be about $100 for the set. Since I can't make the actual shipping option price work, it is listed as local pick up only but I will ship UPS at actual cost. My starting bid is $100 as they aren't worth messing with for less than that.  No reserve.

Now Porsche catches the SUV Coupe bug with plans for a Cayenne Coupe

Tue, 06 May 2014

Porsche are planning a coupe version of the next Cayenne (current Turbo S pictured) No one thought the BMW X6 would sell; after all, who would want an SUV with a compromised coupe roofline? But it seems plenty of buyers do – the BMW X6 sells at twice the rate BMW predicted – which is why we’re getting an X6 clone in the new Mercedes GL Coupe – likely to be the Mercedes MLC – heading for a Mercedes showroom near you sometime soon after being previewed by the Mercedes Concept Coupe. Now, Porsche are apparently playing the SUV Coupe game with plans for a coupe version of the next generation Cayenne in 2018, according to Autocar, to make sure BMW and Mercedes don’t have things all their own way.

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

Chris Bangle Associates has announced a new design contest called 'Illustrate the Future.' The competition is open to all design students across all design disciplines and coincides with the launch of Managing Director, Chris Bangle's new book. "I have written a fiction book about Car Design and the prologue takes place 25 years in the future," says Bangle. "It contains some concepts I have been working on, and this contest is to see what YOU would make of them." Bangle's novel explores the state of affairs in the car design field and also expresses his concerns about the culture future generations of designers will inherit.
