FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION... A gorgeous pair of dark brown pebbled leather motorcycle chaps by First Classics of First Manufacturing Co. in men's size small. Inside leg length is 32.5 inches. Belt adjusts from 32-38 inches, but I wear a ladies' size 8, and these were a little too snug in the thigh, so best for true men's small. Quilted lining to the knee. Zipper from hip knee and snaps from there down. Two deep pockets on each leg; one with snap closure and one that zips. Beautiful! Ford Figo – Cool for India
Wed, 23 Sep 2009The Ford Figo - made in India For has spent a few bob – around £300 million – expanding its car making facilities in India at Chennai to make the plant capable of producing 200,000 cars a year which, as Alan Mullaly, Ford’s CEO said, does show how serious Ford are about the Indian market. The Figo – which is apparently colloquial Italian for ‘Cool’ – shares Ford’s small car platform, which means that under the skin it’s a Fiesta. It looks like a Ford too, with the usual ford ‘Kinetic’ design cues written all over it.
Electric cars get a £500 million government cash boost – but will it get spent?
Mon, 05 May 2014The new BMW i3 EV (pictured) will be subsidised until 2017. The subsidy of up to £5000 paid to buyers of electric cars has been with us for three years, but it hasn’t had much impact on EV sales and it did look like the government had decided to scrap it all together. But it looks like the coalition has allowed Nick Clegg to have his way with EV subsides in a move that will see £500 million injected in to promoting and supporting electric cars in the UK in the next few years.
New Mercedes A Class based Mercedes CLC to debut in LA

It looks like the new Mercedes CLC – a mini CLS based on the new A Class – will debut at a film and food festival in LA as the Concept Style Coupe. We know that a mini CLS based on the new Mercedes A Class is planned, and we know it’s likely to be the Mercedes CLC (or any number of other potential monikers including CLA and BLS) and will probably even spawn a CLC Shooting Brake version too.
