Mercedes CLA & GLA will sell 60,000 a year in the USA
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Mercedes are aiming to sell 30k CLAs in the US every year It’s not all that long since the only Mercedes car US car buyers actually took seriously was the Mercedes S-Class. But times have changed and the rise in fuel prices and the collapse of the US car market has seen US car buyers looking at more ‘compact’ cars as appealing buys. Toyota Prius points the way to design future
Mon, 18 May 2009For a glimpse of Toyota's future design trends, check out the Prius. The goal was to create an avant-garde, high-tech look that also screams green.
New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track (video)
Sat, 19 Nov 2011New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track The new Porsche Panamera GTS is the latest Panamera variant to arrive – the ninth Panamera, no less – and is, as all Porsche GTS models are, a harder-edged take on the more mainstream variants. With its naturally aspirated 4.8 litre V8 producing 425bhp, and pushing those horses through a PDK ‘box to all four wheels, the Panamera can scoot to 62mph in a very respectable 4.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 179mph. Not bad for a big saloon car that eschews forced induction and can carry proper-sized passengers in comfort.
