This is the new Nissan Note, due to arrive in the UK in 2013. Nissan chiefs are quick to point out that the car shown here is the Japanese market version, and that the car offered to European buyers next year will have design tweaks inside and out, and a different dynamic set-up. Young drivers at risk from poor tyre care

YOUNG DRIVERS are putting their lives at risk by not looking after their cars’ tyres. A survey by Tyresafe and insurer Ingenie has found that more than a third of young drivers aged 18-25-years old had never checked their tyres for tread depth and a quarter had not checked the tyres on their car for correct pressure ever. The survey found that better education is needed to tell young drivers of the important of looking after the tyres on their car.

Nissan Qashqai n-tec introduced

Nissan has announced a new version of its best selling Qashqai - the Nissan Qashqai n-tec But Nissan aren’t standing still with the Qashqai. They introduced the Qashqai+2 option to give seven seat capability to the Qashqai, and now they are beefing up option levels on the top of the range Tekna version, and introducing a new model – The Nissan Qashqai n-tec. The Qashqai n-tec slots in between the Tekna and the Acenta and brings a well-equipped extra version to the good handling compact SUV.
