* Made from ABS in gloss black * Fit using 3M (scotch) tape which is already fixed to the rear of the trim. * No need to use tools,direct bolt-on . Instructions to fit - (1) Thoroughly remove all wax and grease from the application area. Use 3M General Purpose Cleaner and Wax Remover or other mild solvent, such as White Spirit applied with a clean cloth. (2) Gently indirectly heat the trim cover and car bodywork using a hairdryer to 30 degrees Celsius, in order to achieve an improved instant bond. (3) Remove outer covering from tape to expose sticky side. (4) Apply moulding (with tape applied) to the desired area of the car body. Firmly buff down after applying |

But it’s actually on sale now, a few weeks early. At £29,900 (for the 3-door with 6-speed manual), the Golf R is a sensible price ( at least in comparison to VW’s truly silly price for the MK 6 Golf R Cabrio – which they subsequently dropped by more than £5k) and undercuts the similar Audi S3.
