2011 Chevrolet Caprice returns to police beat

The Chevrolet Caprice is back on the police beat. General Motors unveiled plans on Monday for a new patrol car that will hit the streets in early 2011. It's called the Chevy Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle, and it will come with V8 and V6 engines, as well as a slew of specialized equipment.

Nissan has just released this image of its new Townpod concept, which offers insight into how the brand could expand its portfolio of zero-emission vehicles. It will be displayed at the Paris motor show.  Designed to offer zero-emissions mobility to a future generation of home-based, innovative entrepreneurs who are creative and tech-savvy, the Townpod "combines eye-catching design with a spacious and practical interior," Nissan says. Toyota future products: U.S. comeback effort fueled with product blitz

Toyota plans an onslaught of products in the next two years that will attempt to propel the brand back into a leadership position. At least 10 new or redesigned products will arrive in dealerships by the end of next year. A major change in Toyota's product development process involves lengthening the platform cadence.
