New carmaker Eterniti to debut its first car at Frankfurt auto show

It's not every day that a new car company jumps into the fray, and it's even rarer that the first model it builds is a super SUV. Enter Eterniti Motors, a startup luxury brand based in London. The company says it satisfies a demand for personalized luxury from wealthy car buyers, “particularly in major cities and global wealth centers.” Apparently Rolls-Royce, Bugatti, Bentley and Spyker just aren't filling that void.

McLaren 12C Spider confirmed for July 3 reveal

McLaren Automotive officially announced on Friday that it will reveal the 12C Spider, an open-top version of the MP4-12C supercar, on July 3. There has been much speculation about an open-top version since the release of the original MP4-12C. Maserati GranTurismo S automatic gets a Geneva motor show debut

Last year, Maserati used the Geneva motor show to debut its GranTurismo S with a more powerful 4.7-liter engine. However, at the time it was available only with an upgraded version of the company's manual-based electro-actuated transmission. For the 2009 Geneva show, Maserati will reveal a new ZF automatic gearbox for the 433-hp coupe.
