Fri, 21 May 2010The disel engined Infiniti EX - The Infiniti EX30d The start of the month saw Infiniti divvying upĀ detailsĀ of the diesel engined FX30d for the UK, and in the next step in giving their cars more Euro-appeal we have details of the compact crossover diesel from Nissan’s luxury division – the Infiniti EX30d. The EX30d gets the same diesel engine as the FX30d, namely a 3.0 litre V6 with graphite iron block (all the better for saving weight and adding smoothness) delivering 235bhp which – in the smaller EX30d – is sufficient to get to 60mph in 7.7 seconds and return 33.2mpg. Emissions are 227g/km.
Fisker Karma S concept
Sun, 18 Jan 2009Fisker Automotive revealed the newest addition to its lineup at NAIAS 2009, exactly a year after the independent carmaker unveiled its first concept vehicle, the Karma. Called the Karma S concept, the four-seat convertible was designed by Henrik Fisker with input from a newly assembled design team taken on to help bring the Karma sedan to production. The design of the S is likely to make it to the showroom almost unchanged.
Motoring groups warn over M1 speed limit change
Tue, 07 Jan 2014MOTORING campaigners have warned that speed limits on motorways across the country could be cut after the Highways Agency announced plans for a 60mph zone on the M1. The plan would come into effect between junction 28 of the M1 at Mansfield and junction 35a for Sheffield and Rotherham between 7am and 7pm, seven days a week. The Highways Agency said the reduced speed limit would be used to help reduce emissions along the route.
