Refreshed 2015 Dodge Challenger gets a 485-hp 6.4-liter V8, Scat Pack trims

Chrysler has pulled the covers off the 2015 Dodge Challenger at the New York auto show, and though the styling is more or less unchanged, the big news is a big, new V8 option. No, it's not the rumored supercharged “Hellcat” mill, but the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 under the hood of the Challenger 6.4-liter Scat Pack variant should be good for 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. Toyota Prius slashes price to match Honda Insight

Toyota Motor Corp. is going for the jugular with its redesigned Prius, setting a 2.05 million yen starting price ($20,750) in Japan that is on par with the newly released Honda Insight. Toyota notified Japanese dealers of the cutthroat pricing policy for its redesigned 1.8-liter gasoline-electric hybrid on March 25, dealers in Japan say.

Mercedes has revealed the facelift for the 2013 E Class Convertible and Coupe – adding to the Saloon and Estate updates we saw in December. The changes to the E-Class Coupe and Convertible are similar to those on the estate and saloon, with new single headlights instead of the E-Class’s familiar double headlights (although the LED running lights up the middle of the headlight conspire to make it look like it still has twin lights), new bumpers and LED tail lights. But the E-Class Coupe and Convertible don’t the sheet metal changes the saloon an d estate get, so the Coupe and Convertible retain the pontoon rear haunches to set them apart from the four-door E-Class models.
