Lotus Exige S V6 rolls off the production line

Fri, 27 Jul 2012

The Lotus Exige S V6 with the 3.5 litre Supercharged engine from the Evora S has started rolling off the production line at Hethel. The Lotus Exige S V6, with the supercharged 3.5 litre engine we first saw in the Evora S, has started to roll off the production line (actually, ‘production line’ me be a bit of an exaggeration) and is heading off to its new owner.

Tue, 24 Jun 2014

ANYONE with fond memories of the ‘good old days’ of motor racing are in for a treat at this year’s Silverstone Classic meeting. Alongside numerous historic racing categories, event organisers are also promoting a line-up of classic F3 cars celebrating 50 years of the entertaining formula. Popular with up and coming drivers keen to advance to Formula One, F3 was used as a stepping stone by the likes of Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alan Jones and Alain Prost.

Renault Zoe EV gets cheaper – but only if you hardly use it

Renault Zoe EV (pictured) battery lease dropes to £45 a month The Renault ZOE eEV is one of the most affordable electric cars in the UK, with prices from £13,345 (after tax-payer bribe) plus a monthly cost for leasing the batteries from Renault. A bit like buying an ICE car and paying a monthly lease for the engine. But despite the Zoe’s ‘affordable EV’ tag, Renault has not had overwhelming success with the Zoe in the UK since it arrived last year, so they’ve come up with some new incentives to get car buyers to opt for their electric supermini.
