SSD Performance's "Hybrid" Roof Rails are custom fit for the 2014-2016 Kia Souls (WITHOUT Panoramic Roof).

We call these "Hybrid" roof rails because they offer all of the advantages of traditional long roof rails but also the ease of quick bolt on installation in the existing factory "fixed" cross bar mounts on your Soul (the mounts are under those 4 little plastic covers that are on your roof trim. These install and remove quickly and easily so you can remove them when not in use. There is with no drilling or modifications of any kind required for installation. PLEASE NOTE; These will fit all 2014-2016 Souls WITHOUT the Panoramic Roof only. Panoramic Roof Souls DO NOT have the factory "fixed" cross bar mounts that these attach to

These new Hybrid Roof Rails mount securely and allow the use of traditional aftermarket cross bars to be placed anywhere along the rails (up to 50" apart!) for added stability when carrying longer items like kayaks, canoes, long cargo boxes, ladders, etc. With these Hybrid roof rails you'll have the foundation for a serious, heavy duty roof rack and the option of removing the rack entirely if you only want it on your Soul when you need it. We've even designed cargo tie down attaching points into the mounting brackets to aid in securing your cargo

These Hybrid Roof Rails feature all welded, lightweight, STAINLESS STEEL construction for strength and corrosion resistance and then finished in a tough, black powder coat finish to blend with your Soul's trim and look good for years to come. These install and remove quickly and easily with no special tools. These include stainless steel mounting hardware and instructions

All of the Malone 50" and 58" Cross Bars that we sell in our other listings are compatible with these new 2014-2015 Kia Soul SSD Performance Hybrid roof rails and carry Malone's lifetime warranty! (see our Ebay store or our other listings)

Please note that these rails will NOT fit the EV Soul (electric), Souls with the Panoramic roof or Canadian Souls

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra: A huge deal

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Yesterday General Motors unveiled its new full-sized pickup trucks, the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. It was a big day for me -- like Christmas for an 8-year-old: People who know me know what a Silverado slappy I am. Given that the trucks are the first new GM full-size pickups in years, and since CEO Dan Akerson called it the “biggest launch in probably decades,” clearly it's a big deal for them too.
