Callaway to give 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra a boost

Wed, 21 Aug 2013

Callaway has just announced the debut of supercharged versions of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks. This news comes only weeks after Callaway made known their intentions to fit market a version of the Silverado with an Eaton TVS supercharger. The Connecticut-based tuner has developed a new supercharger manifold and some other hardware for the new Chevrolet L83 Ecotec engine, which is expected to produce around 455 hp (though these are preliminary figures).

Studio Torino offers Porsche Cayman-based Moncenisio

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Studio Torino, the firm that brought us the little known RK Spider and RK Coupe -- both based on Porsches -- is sending another vehicle to market this November called the Moncenisio. The Moncenisio is based on the 2013 Porsche Cayman S, and will carry all of the same mechanicals, with a body designed by Daniele Gaglione. That means a power output of 325 hp and 272 lb-ft of torque.

GMC to add Denali version of Acadia

Wed, 10 Mar 2010

Look for more bling from the rough-and-tough GMC brand. The Acadia crossover will get a Denali trim, joining the Yukon SUV and Sierra light- and heavy-duty trucks, said Lisa Hutchinson, GMC product marketing director. The Acadia will get features such as an upgraded grille, 20-inch available wheels, body-colored rocker panels, ambient lighting and interior trim.
