Infiniti and Red Bull deal set to expand
Mon, 17 Oct 2011Infiniti set to get deeper in to bed with Red Bull We’ve not been the biggest fans of Infiniti’s marketing efforts in the UK and Europe, but we had to concede that the decision for Infiniti to sponsor Red Bull in F1 had its upside. The Range Rover Sport SVR accelerates from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and boasts a top speed electronically limited to 162mph plus a Nurburgring Nordschleife lap time of 8 minutes 14 seconds – one of the fastest times ever recorded by a production SUV.

And while he might have been the fastest up the hill, he wasn’t judged ‘best in show’. That title went to a particular Maserati A6 CGS Berlinetta, which was entered in the Festival’s traditional ‘style-et-luxe’ concours d’elegance event.
