Pump Running ?
ABS light ON, ABS pump is always running,. The module is failing causing problems with the ABS pump running constantly, also will drain your battery. Remove the ABS fuse to prevent ABS motor burn out. We repair ABS modules (also known as EBCM electronic brake control modules) for many vehicles, please see list below. Don't wait until your ABS pump burns out. We rebuild it within 24 hours and ship it back ready to install. You can still drive your vehicle with the module removed. We recommend covering the exposed surface of the hydraulic control unit with aluminum foil to keep out water and dirt.

BMW ‘i' subbrand aims for 2013 launch

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

BMW has confirmed that the new subbrand through which it intends to market a range of advanced stand-alone hybrid, range-extended and plug-in electric models will be called BMW “i.” Created to develop, produce and market what BMW's head of marketing, Ian Robertson, describes as “innovative solutions to premium mobility,” the brand will be supported by a company established by BMW called i Ventures, through which the German carmaker plans to grow its range of mobility services. The i3 and the i8 will be the initial models and are planned for introduction in 2013. “These cars have been designed specifically for their respective alternative drive systems,” said Klaus Draeger, head of BMW's R&D operations.

VW Touareg BlueMotion hits the UK

Fri, 12 Jun 2009

Volkswagen has announced the VW Touareg BlueMotion for the UK Offering improved economy and lower emissions, the Touareg BlueMotion manages to drop in to a lower Co2 band by emitting 219g/km (a reduction from 244g/km on the V6 TDi) and it delivers 34mpg as opposed to 30.4mpg on the V7 TDi. These improvements have been achieved by the usual ECU tweaking, low rolling resistance tyres, some aerodynamic tweaks and a lower ride height (exactly the same sort of stuff that Ford has done on the EConetic range). And the penalty for the lower emissions and better economy is very slight, with the Touareg BlueMotion still managing the 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of  126mph.
