McLaren's Stephenson honored by Art Center
Mon, 18 Oct 2010McLaren Automotive design director Frank Stephenson was honored this weekend at the 80th anniversary of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif. Stephenson is a 1986 graduate of the school, and he received the Creative Spirit Award along with three other alumni. The MP4-12C was also on display at the festivities.

"Last year at this event we had a conversation and decided that it was the right time to do something." BMW and Zagato both have history associated with the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este – Europe's most glamorous car show – yet until last weekend the two illustrious names had never crossed paths. The BMW Zagato Coupé marks the first project between the two and the first Italian-designed car to wear the blue and white propeller since the 2003 Bertone Birusa.

Fri, 07 Aug 2009Porsche has released video footage of the 2010 911 Turbo The new Porsche 911 Turbo features a turbo-charged version of the 3.8 litre engine found in the Carrera S, which produces 500hp and a 0-60mph of 3.2 seconds. Porsche has also worked on the driving dynamics of the car, with a more driver-focused setup. The 4WD system now features a more pronounced rear bias, making the 911 Turbo more fun on twisty roads.
