Vauxhall: Three new engine ranges arriving in next year

Mon, 14 May 2012

Vauxhall Mokka - a likely recipient of the new Vauxhall engine range Vauxhall – and we assume Opel – are planning three new engine ranges to launch in the next twelve months. Vauxhall has revealed that they are planning a wholesale revamp of their engine range with the launch of three new engine ranges in the next year, starting with a new 1.6 litre turbo petrol. The new turbo petrol engine will get direct injection and start-stop technology that Vauxhall say will cut fuel consumption by 13 per cent.

Thu, 16 Feb 2012

Aston Martin V12 Zagato - the video The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has now been revealed in production guise, and we have the first video of the new Aston in motion. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has been on its way for the best part of a year, from the reveal of the track version of the new Zagato at Villa D’Este through pictures and video of Zig and Zag on track and finally the first official pictures of the production version of the V12 Zagato last week. But now Aston Martin have finally revealed the V12 Zagato in Kuwait they’ve seen fit to release a video – sadly, a rather short video – of the V12 Zagato in action on the road.

Porsche 911: the new 2009 model

Fri, 06 Jun 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 06 June 2008 08:00 The great survivor of the sports car world – the Porsche 911 – has evolved again. Porsche today unveils the latest in a long line of 911s and the new one heralds the arrival of Porsche’s new twin-clutch transmission (dubbed PDK) and direct-injection. Amazingly, it makes the coupe nearly as fuel efficient as a family car, nudging 30mpg.  Porsche 911: the 2009 model year There’s no new model designation this time: it remains a 997 at heart and Porsche calls the latest 911 a ‘second-generation 997’, despite a raft of technical changes under the same-again skin.
