Sat, 18 Aug 2012‘Friends of Carroll Shelby’ pay tribute to the man with an 850hp Ford Shelby GT500 Cobra, finished in Guardsman Blue/Wimbledon White stripe paint. Carroll Shelby – an man who understood performance cars perhaps better than any other American – died in May of this year, aged 89, after a life lived to the full. As a fitting tribute to the man who gave Ford the sort of performance cars they could never have dreamt of building, a very special Ford Shelby GT500 Cobra has been built to remember him by ‘The Friends of Carroll Shelby’.
Subaru Cross Sport Design and Viziv Evolution concepts at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. Lotus unveils Grand Prix-inspired Exige S LF1 (2014)

Dressed in the official colours of the Lotus F1 team, the black-gold Exige S with red accents will be limited to 81 units. Each one is individually numbered with a carbonfibre build plate.
