palm, carbon and kevlar on Palm heel and Sheepskin between
fingers for comfort. It uses 150g Thinsulate on the back
(plus an aluminium layer to reflect the warmth) and 40g on
palm and also uses a Hipora waterproof & breathable membrane
to make it the best and warmest winter glove

Vauxhall and Opel 'not for sale' - CEO Akerson

GM chief executive Dan Akerson has overnight dismissed claims that its Vauxhall/Opel European division is for sale. CAR's European editor Georg Kacher, and media outlets in Germany, reported last month that German chancellor Angela Merkel had weighed in to the debate and encouraged Volkswagen to step in and take GM Europe off GM's hands. Vauxhall and Opel have also been linked to a possible sale to the Chinese.

When the 2011 Ford Explorer hits showrooms, its move to a unibody platform won't be the only major change. Ford will use the next-generation Explorer to introduce inflatable seatbelts for rear passengers. According to Ford, the inflatable seatbelt will help distribute crash forces across five times more body area, compared with traditional seatbelts.
