Bought this DVD set from "http://www.fixmyhog.com" used them extensively for my 2009 Dyna Fat Bob FXDF. Coupled with the 2009 Dyna Service Manual this visual reference is an excellent companion in order to service your Softail or Dyna models. These DVD's are still in BRAND NEW condition as I only used them ONCE to rip into digital format to be used on my iPad for much easier and faster access/reference instead of using the DVD's in my laptop. So in essence these DVD's are still new in their original case. Retail for $55, yet I somehow paid $65, up for auction here starting at $10 + $10 shipping. Good luck to the DIY Softail or Dyna mechanic.

I'VE ALREADY DELETED THE RIPPED VERSION SO DO NOT ASK FOR THEM!

Porsche 918 Spyder races toward production

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

OK, let's put the usual arguments to rest first: The Porsche 918 Spyder is going to be even faster than the Carrera GT in a straight line. That's based on Porsche's own computer simulations in anticipation of the production version of the gasoline-electric-powered 918 Spyder, which is due to roll off a dedicated line within a decommissioned paint shop at Porsche's Zuffenhausen, Germany, headquarters next year. The claimed 0-to-62-mph time is 2.8 seconds; 0-to-124 mph is 8.9 seconds, and top speed should be about 202 mph, thanks in part to series of active aerodynamic functions, including a multistage rear wing.

One Lap of the Web: Panteras, Battlebirds and Patrick Dempsey's entrepreneurial brilliance

Mon, 20 May 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- Sure, later versions of the De Tomaso Pantera looked a bit outrageous with their wide fenders and Countach-like spoilers.

Motorcycle deaths spike in 2012

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Motorcycle fatalities rose by 9 percent in 2012, totaling more than 5,000 deaths, according to data released Wednesday by the helmet laws play a part, as well. According to the GHSA, only 19 states currently require motorcycle drivers to wear a helmet at all times. This number is down from 26 states in 1997, showing the willingness of states to repeal helmet-required legislation.
