Can be used with all FJ40 models and probably other vehicles as well. This piece has been fully disassembled, sandblasted down to the bare metal, powder coated and then reassembled. The motor and fan were also disassembled, cleaned, sandblasted, painted, and reassembled. The unit is powder coated a metallic graphite color. The motor runs strong and the radiator showed no air leaks when I pressurized it to 13psi and kept it underwater for a while. I’m also auctioning a matching instrument cluster and glove box door set that are powder coated the same metallic graphite color. Additionally, in the very near future I’ll be offering a cast aluminum 2F valve cover that’s also this same metallic graphite color, so keep watching for that! They make a great upgrade from the early stamped steel ones that flex and leak around the cork gaskets. During installation, you may have to scrape some of the powder coating away in order to complete the grounding circuit for the motor.
