Koenigsegg backs out of deal to buy Saab
Tue, 24 Nov 2009Swedish exotic-car maker Koenigsegg Group has canceled plans to buy Saab from General Motors. GM announced that the deal was off on Tuesday and gave no reason why the deal fell apart, nor did the automaker say what would happen to Saab. CDN announces judging panel for Car Design Awards 2010

In line with the competition's aims, the judging panel comprises both Western and Chinese design chiefs, who will be awarding prizes to student entrants which include placements at an international design school. Chairing the panel for the Car Design Awards China 2010 competition will be Peter Stevens, the designer behind the McLaren F1 road car, Lotus Elan and Subaru Impreza P1 among others, and a visiting Professor of Vehicle Design at London's Royal College of Art.
