Flanders Sidestand Kickstand 55 -69 Bmw Twin /2 R50 R60 R69 New Old Stock! Rare! on 2040-parts.com
Albany, New York, United States
Flanders Side Stand for 55-69 BMW Airhead /2. Brand NEW,!
Old Stock. Quite rare, even used. The second photo is how it came out of storage in it's original bag. I took it out for the pictures and provided a few more photos. It has been hanging around easily for 12+ years or so and the very end of the stand, which was unprotected, has a few marks and paint chips from banging around in storage. The minor rust on the upper bolt is only surface from just being old. However, it is indeed new, never installed or used. A classic, well made and functional accessory, best grab this one, you won't find another, nor will you ever lose if you decide ever to resell. You will pay close to this for a well used and rusty one if you could even find one. Do you own a /2? Why take a chance, buy it before you lose it? Your /2 needs and deserves this stand because it works and is it very well conceived and constructed matching the quality and style of the BMW motorcycle itself. I forget how much it was when new and I saved it all these years as I thought someday I'd have another /2, but I just know somebody can use this now. $10 shipping in the 48 States, other locations will be actual shipping cost. Thank You! |

Double Success For Ford At Scottish Car Of The Year
Tue, 15 Oct 2013FORD is celebrating a double victory at the Scottish Car of the Year awards, where its Fiesta ST took Best Hot Hatch title and Ford’s MyKey technology was judged Innovation of the Year. Commenting the Fiesta ST’s win, Alisdair Suttie, Association of Scottish Motoring Writers president, said: “Buyers of affordable ‘pocket rockets’ are spoiled for choice these days, with power and fuel economy light years better than ever before. Our winner is not the most powerful of the shortlisted cars but its ease of driving and superb chassis won over the judges.” The judges were also impressed by Ford’s MyKey, an industry-first technology which allows parents to programme a key for younger drivers that limits their top speed, reduces maximum radio volume, disables the radio until seat belts are fastened and prevents deactivation of driver assistance and safety technologies.

Problems with your McLaren MP4-12C? Have a ‘McLaren: The Wins’ coffee table book
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Ron Dennis apologises to McLaren MP4-12C owners A couple of weeks ago we reported that McLaren was having some teething problems with their new MP4-12C but weren’t, despite reports to the contrary, halting production. The problems seemed to be mainly software related, with issues including warning lights flashing on and battery drainage issues, which seemed to be because the MP4-12C’s electronics didn’t turn off when the car was halted. But it seemed McLaren were working on the issues with the same sort of zeal we’ve come to recognise from their F1 programme, no doubt spurred on by the wrath of Ron Dennis.
