It basically comes down to this - unless you're a smoker, how could any other replacement ashtray be an acceptable purchase for your XJS?

We're offering a total of two front console ashtray assemblies @ $39.50 each; both are absolutely flawless in every respect...

Yup, we say 'Used' only because they were removed from a used XJS, although the ashtrays show no evidence of seeing any use at all.

Either ashtray will fit EVERY XJS from 1986 to 1996 - Coupes, Cabriolets and Convertibles - all of them.

This means a spotless interior and a flawless chrome exterior - exactly as when last offered by Jaguar for $129.25 back in 2004.

Another 'No Reserve' bargain from Paul's Jaguar, the Parts specialists for everything XJ6/XJ12/XJS. Please see our other auctions for more low price offerings; you might also want to check our feedback file to read the comments of purchasers for items previously listed on eBay.

Our methods for receiving payment are very precise and explained below. Committing to buy any of our Parts is acknowledging that you fully understand the options for making payment.

The Winning buyer will receive a "Payment Instructions" e-mail from us sent to whichever email address you have registered with ebay as soon as the auction closes - PLEASE DO NOT HIT THE "PAY NOW" BUTTON.

Discover Card, Visa, or Mastercard are the only accepted payment methods for all bidders, worldwide.

Due to more restrictive controls exerted by ebay in the name of 'security', sellers are no longer able to accept m/orders or checks of any description as payment for ebay items.

Sorry, but for very sound reasons which we're happy to explain when asked on the telephone, we do not accept PAYPAL.

Shipping is only $8.95 anywhere in the USA and $14.50 to Canada......  Please make sure we receive your payment within 2 days of the auction closing to avoid being blocked from bidding on other clearance items from Paul's. Telephone or e-mail us with any questions.

Our XJS Customer Help-Line [Tel: 561-367-0525] is open  at times which seem to suit our customers best -  9 am to 9 pm Eastern Standard Time EVERY DAY, while Saturday afternoons are usually devoted to our  "Customer Open House" - please check in advance.

The Piquet accident at Singapore which probably wasn't an accident at all Oh, dear. But it was hard to get your head round the allegations being false, particularly as they were backed up by three-times world champion Piquet Snr. It’s one thing to indulge your offspring, but it’s hard to believe that Dad would back son unless he was convinced.

Chicago auto show: Ford Transit Connect van targets businesses

Mon, 09 Feb 2009

The demise of the Freestar (more commonly remembered as the Windstar) minivan left Ford without a small cargo carrier it could pitch to business and fleet customers who didn't need the hugeness of the E-series van. That gap in the product lineup gets filled this summer with the front-drive Transit Connect van--a product Ford has been selling in European and Asian markets for six years. Ford rolls out the U.S.
