We at Flex-a-lite have been leading the way in cooling product technology for over 40 years. The brand name "Flex-a-lite" serves, the passenger car, or automotive aftermarket, with belt-driven engine cooling fans, electric fans, transmission and engine oil coolers. The brand name "FAL" offers the same products to the younger sport compact market, and also offers poly carbonate windows. We designed the first plastic Heavy Duty truck fans in 1968 for Class VI & VIII trucks, and produced the first one-piece plastic truck fan in 1977, followed by the first injection molded truck fans in 1979. In 1978, Flex-a-lite developed the first electric engine cooling fan for the U.S. Aftermarket. In 1982, the company began producing vertical incubator systems for salmon and trout hatcheries worldwide under the brand name "MariSource". We also manufacture various metal and plastic components with high-volume and high tonnage punch presses, precision press brakes of various sizes for local customers. We sell products globally through distribution channels that are handled by direct sales managers employed at the company who then use manufacturer representatives to augment the sales effort. Fisheries products are sold directly to State and Federal government agencies, truck fans are sold through various distribution channels including Paccar, Freightliner, Volvo, GM, and Navistar. In 1997, land was purchased in Fife, Washington and our company moved the entire manufacturing plant to our current 65,000 square feet facility. We share a 35,000 square foot outside storage area with our sister company, Cascade Plastics Co., and own 9 adjacent acres for future growth.

Shipping Time

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. Orders which must ship via Truck Freight may require an additional day or two before they ship.

Shipping Restrictions

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship eBay orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or any other U.S. Territory. Also, as most of our orders will ship through either UPS or FedEx, we are unable to accommodate orders to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

International Shipments

Certain items may be available for international shipment using eBay's Global Shipping Program (or “GSP”). The Global Shipping Program allows international buyers to shop with confidence for US-based items thanks to the GSP’s built-in protections and end-to-end tracking. The GSP makes things simple for buyers by automatically calculating import and shipping charges for international purchases upon checkout. Before purchasing, the buyer sees the item price plus all fees. That means no surprise charges and no additional fees upon delivery.

Once a Global Shipping Program item is sold the seller simply ships the item to the Global Shipping Center. And then once it arrives, the Program takes care of the rest. International shipping experts make sure your item is ready for transport, help it clear customs, and send it on its way via our trusted network of “last mile” shipping providers. Another benefit of the GSP is that there are no additional fees due upon delivery. All charges are covered up front, and you can track the progress of your item from when it leaves the Global Shipping Center all the way until it arrives at your door. So as a buyer, after you complete your purchase, you can just sit back and relax until your item arrives.

Returns

Truck Customizers wants you to be happy with your purchase. We realize there are times when an item may become damaged during shipment or may not be exactly what you were expecting. We are here to help you resolve these issues as quickly and easily as possible.

Return Policy
  • To ensure that you are properly credited, do not return any merchandise without prior authorization from Truck Customizers.
  • All returns must be in "as new" condition, unused, unaltered, and with all original packaging, hardware, instruction manuals, etc. Once an item has been installed, it can no longer be accepted for return.
  • No returned merchandise will be accepted after 30 days of purchase.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Truck Customizers will send a prepaid return label if the return is due to an error on our part.
  • All installation, delivery and shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • If an item being returned for credit or exchange originally qualified for free shipping, the actual shipping charges may be withheld from the amount refunded.
  • The RMA number must be clearly written on the shipping label. Failure to do so may substantially delay the processing of your credit, and will result in a restocking fee. Be sure to include a copy of the return form with all returned merchandise and include a complete description of the reason you are returning the item.
  • All returns will be inspected once they are received by the warehouse. Credit will not be issued for items which are returned in poor condition or have not been returned following the process outlined in this return policy. If your return is denied, the item may be returned back to you at your cost.
  • Once your return has been received, inspected and accepted by the warehouse, you will be issued a refund. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your return to be processed after it has been received by the warehouse.
  • Truck Customizers is not responsible for any returned merchandise that is lost or damaged during shipment. Make sure that all returned merchandise has a tracking number and is properly insured.
  • Once you have been issued an RMA number, your return must be received by the warehouse within 30 days. If the item is not received within this period, the RMA number will be canceled and we may be unable to accept the return. If the warehouse chooses to accept your return after the 30-day time period has elapsed, a restocking fee will be assessed.
Exchanges

All exchanges will be shipped to you once we receive your returned item at the warehouse. Should you wish to receive your exchange earlier, you may re-order the new item and request a refund for the original item once it has been received and processed by the warehouse.

If there is a difference in price between products being exchanged, we will charge or issue credit accordingly before shipping the new item.

The customer is responsible for shipping charges on exchanged items unless the exchange is due to an error on our part.

Restocking Fee

Certain items may be subject to a restocking fee. Additionally, the following situations will result in a 15% restocking fee:

  • Any item refused at time of delivery (other than items that were visibly damaged during shipment)
  • Any item returned without an RMA number or with an invalid/expired RMA number
  • Any item returned without an RMA number clearly visible on the shipping label
  • Any returned item accepted beyond the 30-day return period
  • Any item that is returned incomplete (missing any parts, manuals, original packaging, etc.) or in altered condition - - if such an item is not refused by the warehouse, it will be subject to a restocking fee to cover testing/repair/repackaging expenses
  • Any item being returned as defective but proves to be in normal working condition
Non-Returnable Items

Due to restrictions placed upon us by certain manufacturers, there may be certain items which are not returnable under any condition. If we are unable to accept returns for a specific item, this restriction will be posted in the product's item description and/or in this policy document.

Special Orders

We are unable to accept returns on custom made or special order items.
