Vauxhall calls its new 2013 city car the Adam

Vauxhall has revealed the name for its new city car – the car previously dubbed Junior will in fact be called the Adam. It’s one of the more oddball car names we’ve heard recently. As well as announcing the Adam name, Vauxhall today issued two photographs of a disguised city car, giving us the first official glimpse of its new hatchback.

2015 Land Rover Defender WON’T look like DC100 Concept

Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – has said the 2015 Land Rover Defender won’t look like the DC100 Concept. Most of the feedback Land Rover got was pretty positive, although there were comments from traditional Defender owners that the DC100 looked like a toy Defender and not the rugged icon they wanted. But it looks like those traditional buyers of the Land Rover Defender can stop panicking that their wheels of choice will be turned in to a style statement instead of a workhorse after Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – told CarAdvice that the 2015 Defender won’t look like the DC100 after all.

BMW went to town on creating an M3 pick-up as an April Fools joke Just as we did last year with car April Fool stuff, it seems to make more sense to do a roundup of what hilarious pranks the motoring world – renowned for its sense of humour – has conjured up this year for your mirth than to run separate stories.
