FLOOR GUARDS ARE BUILT TO HELP PROTECT FROM STICKS AND ROCKS, ETC FROM BUSTING FLOOR BOARD. GUARDS START AT SEAM IN DASH ON TIRE SIDE, [ USING 2 FACTORY BOLT HOLES AND ONE YOU DRILL USING GUARD FOR GUIDE ] AND GO UNDER BAR, UNDER FEET AREA OF FLOOR AND TO WHERE STEEL FRAME OF RHINO STARTS UNDER SEAT AREA. [ 4 SELF TAPPING SCREWS EACH SIDE ] OTHER BRANDS OF GUARDS STOP AT THE BAR UNDER YOUR FEET. EITHER HAVE TO HAVE ANOTHER GUARD SUCH AS THE FACTORY YAMAHA SIDE GUARD TO FINISH OUT WITH OR HAVE AN EXPOSED AREA FROM THE BAR TO THE SEAT AREA. THIS AREA IS COVERED WITH MY GUARDS. I HAVE BEEN MAKING THESE FOR YEARS [WINTER 2005] AND GUARDS WORK GREAT!! I USE A SET ON MY RHINO. I HAD BROKE MY FLOOR 3 TIMES BEFORE COMING UP WITH THIS DESIGN. WILL SHIP SAME OR NEXT DAY OF PAYMENT. GUARDS COME WITH STEP BY STEP PICTURE INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL HARDWARE NEEDED TO INSTALL. MADE OF 0.090 THICK 5052 ALUM VERY STIFF. 5052 IS ABOUT AS HARD OF AN ALLOY AS YOU CAN BEND WITH OUT CRACKING. HAVE SOLD HUNDREDS OF THESE GUARDS! READ MY FEED BACK ABOUT THE GUARDS SOLD ON EBAY. THIS SET IS MILL FINISH ALUM MAIN PART AND POLISHED TREAD PLATE SIDE PART. GUARDS MAY BE ORDERED WITH SIDE PART SMOOTH AS WELL INSTEAD OF DIAMOND PLATE. GUARDS HUG INSIDE OF WHEEL WELL AND ADD LESS THAN A 1/4 INCH. HAVE HAD RHINO'S WITH 29'S RUN THEM WITH NO CLEARANCE PROBLEM. THE MOST HEARD COMMENT I GET IS, I SAW YOUR AD SAID DONT WAIT UNTILL YOU BUST A FLOOR BOARD. I HAVE A THOUSAND MILES ON MY RHINO AND NO PROBLEMS. THEN IT HAPPENED JUST DRIVING TRU THE YARD OR UP THE ROAD. THE TIRE JUST CATCHES A STICK JUST RIGHT, AND RIGHT TRU THE FLOOR. A 1.3 diesel isn’t an engine I was expecting to be overly entertaining -even if it is one of Fiat’s new MultiJet jobs – but I was pleasantly surprised.
