Winners and Losers: Porsche sales pop in April
Wed, 04 May 2011Porsche sales spiked 82 percent in April and are up 46 percent for the year, parking the luxury automaker among the top five winners so far for 2011. The redesigned Cayenne made the biggest contribution, with sales up an eye-popping 384 percent from last April and 141 percent for this year. Porsche counted 1,578 copies of the Cayenne sold in April, versus 326 the year before.

Fri, 30 Sep 2011Citroen has teamed up with Mitsubishi again for its new compact SUV. The new Citroen C4 Aircross is based on Mitsu's ASX crossover and goes on UK sale in the second half of 2012. Citroen and Mitsubishi has form here; they collaborated on the C-Crosser (based on the Outlander) and the C-Zero electric car.

What better solution than something mixing the design class of a Bentley with the snow-covering ability of a downhill toboggan? Bentley designers John Paul Gregory imagined a futuristic Santa Azure Sleigh (complete with rifled tailpipes and exposed Bentley Blitzen powerplant), while Yunwoo Jeong turned the Continental GTC cabrio into a sleigh with quad-outrigged headlamps and begoggled Santa.
