Jaguar at the London motor show 2008
Wed, 23 Jul 2008By James Foxall and CAR reader reporter Jacomoseven Motor Shows 23 July 2008 15:02 After the spate of new Jaguars of late, not to mention a takeover, it should come as no surprise that Jag didn't have much to shout about at the London motor show. What’s new on Jaguar’s London motor show stand?Don’t get too excited, but there’s the XK60 – a special anniversary version of the non-supercharged sports car, designed to celebrate six decades of the XK. Mystery Porsche prototype destroyed in fire near Stuttgart
Thu, 27 Jun 2013According to the Porsche-lovers at flatsixes.com, an unknown Porsche prototype caught fire after being taken home by an employee earlier this week. It reportedly took 19 firefighters to extinguish the blaze, which occurred in a home garage in Ludwigsburg, Germany (a city located near Porsche's home in Stuttgart). Fortunately, the employee and his wife suffered only minor injuries, but we assume the prototype is a complete loss.
Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson & Richard Hammond BANNED from driving
Sat, 16 Nov 2013Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson & Richard Hammond (pictured) BANNED from driving in France It’s an astonishing claim from a man with a lead right foot, but Jeremy Clarkson claims to have never been nicked for speeding. But that claim is something Jeremy will have to qualify by location in future after the French ‘Rozzers’ nicked both Clarkson and Richard Hammond on a Top Gear drive in France last month. How we all managed to miss this little snippet of news when Jeremy revealed it in his column in The Sun last month, we don’t know.
