I will provide all information I know and answer questions, part shown is what you will receive, all parts came from the same outboard. Will send pictures before dismantling on request. I do not know the proper terminology or names of many of these parts.  All parts are used and are in "AS IS in AS FOUND CONDITION".

Information noted before dismantling: Flying O Co, 100 W. Second Street, Dubuque, IA Model 1181, Serial 95596, Outboard Motor being sold as pieces and parts. The Motor was locked, single cylinder, hp?, believed to be from the 1940's/1950's. Purchased in Central Illinois so I am sure it has never been in salt water. I am not a mechanic, could not repair one if I had to. Removed bolts and screws and carefully removed pieces. Have included a photo of the outboard before dismantling.  More pictures on request.

The Car Design News Contest 2008 deadline for entries is on Wednesday March 26th - just over a week's time! Entries in both the Professional Designer category and the Student Designer category will have to be submitted by this date - no late entries will be accepted - as the assessment process takes place directly afterwards. Each entry needs to be uploaded onto the Entry Submissions page of the Car Design News Contest site as "snap shot" views of a digital design model.

Supermarkets slash fuel prices

SUPERMARKETS are slashing fuel prices again. In the latest round of cuts, Sainsbury's is reducing its petrol by up to 6p a litre and its diesel by up to 4p a litre. This means customers will pay no more than 129.9p a litre for petrol and 136.9p for diesel, with the reductions taking place from today.

Ferrari P4/5 designer Castriota heads to Saab

Jason Castriota, the noted designer who created the Ferrari P4/5 and the Maserati GranTurismo, is taking his talents to Saab. He will be in charge of design for the Swedish automaker as it looks to develop a new image after being sold by former parent General Motors, Bloomberg News reports. Castriota will work on developing an upscale model of the 9-3 and will try to bolster Saab to better compete with BMW and Audi.
