Tue, 19 Nov 2013Aston Martin has announced it is to recall 16,825 cars globally to rectify an issue that has emerged with the throttle pedal of its cars. Models built between November 2007 and October 2013 will be recalled, the firm says, because they “may exhibit a defect in the throttle pedal”. He was the driving force behind the Blackpool performance car brand, which bore his name and went on to become famous for producing cars with outrageous looks and power. He was seriously ill in his retirement in Menorca, according to reports.
