In it’s gestation from the old Alfa 147 it was possibly going to be the Alfa 148 and then it was certainly going to be the Alfa Milano. In fact, we even got photos as the Alfa Milano.

Dodge revived the iconic Dart nameplate for its new C-segment contender, unveiled at NAIAS 2012. While the Dart represents a new product, filling a gap in the market left by the Neon, it is effecively a rebodied Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The Dart's DRG features drawn-back lamp graphics that are combined with a large grille displaying the classic crosshair insert.

McLaren today issued this first teaser photograph of the second model in its fledgling road-car line-up: the new McLaren MP4-12C Spider. No prizes for spotting it's a convertible version of the existing MP4-12C coupe. Expect it in showrooms later in 2012, priced to compete with the £198,936 Ferrari 458 Spider.
