Hey everyone. These are my unused, brand new coilovers for the rear of my SVT.  Long story short, my focus has a RWD v8 conversion.  The original kit was purchased to handle the extra weight of the v8 in the front only.  Seeing as how I have a mustang rear end in my focus, these will not bolt up.  So they are just laying around collecting dust.  (as you can see in the photo, I still have the original box too!) So, my loss is your gain.  They are literally brand spankin new.  Never mounted.  These will fit the SVT for sure and i'm assuming all zetec based focuses (00-04).  DISCLAIMER: I don't know specifically what vehicles these will work on other than the SVTs.  However, in discussion with other focus enthusiasts have been told they will fit anything up to an 07.  But I honestly don't know.

This kit is an adjustable kit.  It is new and was over $1,300.  This is a no reserve auction.  Paypal only.  Local pickup if requested.

Call for complete smoking ban in cars

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

A COMPLETE BAN on smoking in cars should be introduced by law. That is the finding of a study of driver attitudes, where 71% said the Government should go further than it presently does to people smoking in cars. Of 7500 people polled, the study found 71% also believe smoking in cars should be made a criminal offence if children are in the car at the same time.

The Mitsubishi Evo is dead

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

As Mitsubishi shifts its global lineup toward utility vehicles and electrified cars, it will pull the plug on the Lancer Evolution at the end of the nameplate's current generation. “Mitsubishi Motors does not have any plans to design a successor with the current concept, as a high-performance four-wheel drive gasoline-powered sedan,” spokeswoman Namie Koketsu said, describing the car as having “icon” status. “Mitsubishi Motors will explore the possibilities of high-performance models that incorporate electric vehicle technology.” Dropping the Evo was foreshadowed last fall when President Osamu Masuko unveiled a new mid-term business plan that would deprioritize in-house sedans and explore sourcing them through joint projects with the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
