Fomoco 58 Ford Carter Afb Carburetor 2640sc Carb 352 Cu V8 on 2040-parts.com
Red Lion, Pennsylvania, United States
This is a used Carter AFB four barrel carb. Stamped on it's front corner is 2640SC B5. According to my sources, it is for some 1958 Ford models with a 352 cubic inch V8 engine. Please check your own parts listings to be sure. The linkage works freely, but certainly needs lubrication and adjustment. The only parts that I see obviously missing are the aluminum part number tag and air cleaner attach stud. There may be other parts missing that I'm not noticing. I did not open it up so I don't know the condition or completeness of it's internals. The small tab on the choke butterfly for the link needs tacked back on. It is being sold as is for parts or as a core to refurbish. Buyer to pay packaging/shipping. Shipping price includes insurance (US only).

Volvo S90, V90 and V90 Cross Country on the way
Thu, 28 Aug 2014The Volvo V70 (pictured) will become the new Volvo V90 All the talk for Volvo lately has been the new 2015 Volvo XC90, an impressive offering that really does look like it will take the fight in the ‘Premium’ SUV market to the Germans (and even to Land Rover). But the new XC90 is just the start of Volvo’s new model line-up, and the next couple of years will see more new models arriving with Volvo’s new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) and the new range of 4-cylinder, 2.0 litre engines. What we now also know, thanks to Volvo’s Dennis Nobelius, is that the replacements for the S80, V70 and XC70 won’t use the current nomenclature but will be given new names to better reflect their upmarket aspirations (and their place in Volvo’s new line-up).
VW Pickup concept (2008): first official photos
Wed, 24 Sep 2008By Chris Chilton First Official Pictures 24 September 2008 18:00 He’s designed Alfa Romeos, Audis and even a Lamborghini but now Walter de'Silva has gone all humanitarian and designed a pick-up. VW’s first small flatbed since the Mk1 Golf-based Caddy will take on trucks like the Toyota Hilux and Mitusbishi L200 when it goes on sale late in 2009. It is, but not for long. This thinly veiled concept, called simply Pickup Concept, has been designed as a search and rescue vehicle for coastguards but essentially this is what badge-conscious UK builders will be driving in 2009. The new Volkswagen corporate face with its monobrow top grille and wide mouth is likely to be carried over mostly unchanged to the cars that will roll off the South African production line, as will the surprisingly stylish interior which features hooded instruments and Audi TT-style air vents. Mechanical details are sketchy but Volkswagen claims that engines will be common-rail diesels which rules out the old-tech 2.5 five pot that powers many of VW’s current commercials.
Lamborgini Jota (or nota Jota) Tease 4
Mon, 20 Sep 2010Lamborghini Jota Tease 4 So here we go with what is either tease three of Lamborghini’s slow unwrapping of its Paris surprise, or tease four if you count the Lamborghini Jota bonnet tease from back in June. So what do we get this time round? Well, we think it’s a bit of the interior.
