This is a used rear turn signal stop lamp taillamp lens marked that it is for some 1964 full size Ford models with reverse lamps. Please check your own parts listings to be sure. The tail lens has some minor scratching. Cast on the tail lens is SAE-STDB 64 GLO-BRITE TMC-2203. The chrome on the center ornament is shiny, but has bubbling. The reverse lens appears to be glass with some of the usual surface flaws. Cast on the backup lens is SAE-R-64 TOP. The reverse lens housing has some areas of surface rust. NHTSA probes shattering liftgate glass on Ford SUVs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating about 200,000 copies of the 2010 and 2011 Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner SUVs for liftgate glass that reportedly shatters. There have been 18 complaints of the liftgate window breaking, four resulting in injuries. The models involved were built on or before Oct.

Retailers urged to cut fuel prices

FUEL RETAILERS have been urged to "immediately" ease pressure at the pumps by passing on a drop in wholesale prices to motorists. The RAC said a litre of unleaded petrol sold wholesale for 6p less since the end of August, while diesel was down by 2p a litre, giving petrol stations the power to lower prices on the forecourt. The car services company explained lower prices were due to a drop in oil prices since Syria agreed to sign an international treaty banning chemical weapons and the pound reaching a seven-month high against the dollar.
