2012 Porsche 911 7-speed gearbox in action +video
Tue, 06 Sep 20112012 Porsche 911 7-speed gearbox video below Some of us are old enough – just – to remember when a 3-speed gearbox was normal. And, quite often, located on the column. Bring a Trailer exclusive: 1995 Acura NSX-T
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This 1995 Acura NSX-T is one of those coddled gems in the collector-car world. On the cool scale, this is an 11--despite associate editor Julie Alvin's opinion in our “Top 10 Date Cars” feature--and you can buy it now through our friends at Bring A Trailer for just $33,000. The Acura NSX (New Sportscar Experimental) debuted at the Chicago auto show in February 1989 and in Tokyo in October of the same year.
F1: Bahrain Grand Prix back on – India Grand Prix now in December
Sun, 05 Jun 20112011 Bahrain Grand Prix - back on in October The start of the F1 Circus this year was put back after the Arab Spring made the Gulf Kindom of Bahrain a less than suitable venue for something as frivolous as Formula One, leading to the postponement of the 2011 Bahrain Grand Prix. But now it seems the Bahranians are convinced they’ve put a lid on the populist move to topple their regime (how they’ve done that is debatable), so the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council met on Friday and reinstated the Bahrain Grand Prix for 30th October. That date was originally supposed to be the date of the inaugural Indian Grand Prix, but that too has been pushed back and will now take place at the end of the season, at the same time as the FIA Annual General Assembly and Prize-Giving Gala on December 11th.
