McLaren MP4-12C by Mansory heading for Geneva 2012
Fri, 02 Mar 2012The Mansory take on the McLaren MP4-12C German tuners Mansory are heading to the Geneva Motor Show with their take on the MP4-12C – the Mansory McLaren MP4-12C. When we heard that German tuners Mansory were taking a Mansory McLaren MP4-12C to the Geneva Motor Show this year, we did wonder what we were in for. After all, Mansory are as capable of destroying a car (like the Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost) as they are of enhancing it (like the Mansory Aston Martin DB9).
Subaru BRZ tS is the ‘Sporty’ BRZ STI with no more go
Tue, 20 Aug 2013Subaru BRZ tS (pictured) more show – no more go When we ran the tease photo for what appeared to be the Subaru BRZ STI, we did hope this would be the BRZ with more power. After all, STI (Subaru Tecnica International) is the go faster bit of Subaru so it seemed to be pointing in the right direction, a direction lovers of the BRZ (and its sibling, the Toyota GT86) have been hoping for since it arrived – one with more power. But this isn’t the Subaru equivalent of a BMW M or a Mercedes AMG, its more the equivalent of BMW Performance Parts, where Subaru’s STI division have kitted out a standard car with bolt on modifications and called it the Subaru BRZ tS.
Aston Martin One-77 Nurburgring Spy Video
Fri, 29 Oct 2010The Aston Martin One-77 gets a run at the Nurburgring - Video below For real car lovers the ‘Eco’ push in recent years has left us a little perplexed. Perplexed and confused as we try to come to terms with the joys of a turbo diesel (and there are joys, much to my surprise) and the loss of big V10 and V12 engines in production cars. Thankfully, there are still enough wealthy people in the world who don’t give a fig about the opinions of the eco-mentalists and who are inclined to buy the best that car makers can produce, regardless of eco-sensibilities. Which is why we can still glory in motoring delights like the Aston Martin One-77 even if its £1.2 million price tags is beyond the reach of most.
